The Full Story

About

The Mae's Grace Foundation is committed to offering essential community resources, with a particular emphasis on our workforce development training center. This center is designed to support individuals transitioning from prison and/or rehabilitation programs by focusing on three key areas: culinary arts, hospitality, and office management. The barriers to employment for reentry adults are staggering. As many as 75% of formerly incarcerated individuals are unemployed within the first year of their release. And 63% of recoveries return to using substances 6 months after rehab. And without the stability of a job, they face a disproportionately high risk of returning to prison and or their addiction. Our mission is to break that cycle. By providing hands-on training and mentorship, we equip individuals with the tangible skills they need not only to secure a job but also to build a career and reclaim their lives. This isn't about charity; it's about investment—an investment in people, in potential, and the strength of our community. We are drawing on the lessons of the best to rebuild a future for those who deserve a chance to showcase their true capabilities. Once again, I would like to introduce to the world The Mae's Grace Foundation.` Thank you.

The
Mission

Our mission is to empower and uplift systemically under-resourced and underprivileged communities, including those returning from incarceration and rehabilitation centers, by providing comprehensive community resources, fostering sustainable community development, delivering impactful health and wellness programs, and offering robust workforce training and development.

Through a holistic and collaborative approach, we aim to dismantle systemic barriers, restore dignity, and create pathways to self-sufficiency and long-term success. We are committed to creating a society where every individual has the opportunity to thrive, contribute, and lead a life of purpose and well-being.

The
Vision

"We envision a future where systemic barriers no longer dictate a person's potential, and where every individual—regardless of their past—has equitable access to the health, housing, and economic opportunities needed to thrive."
